Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie left the hospital on Saturday after a week-long stay that began shortly after he tested positive for COVID-19 last week.

"In consultation with my doctors, I checked myself into Morristown Medical Center this afternoon. While I am feeling good and only have mild symptoms, due to my history of asthma we decided this is an important precautionary measure," he said.

Christie was part of Trump’s debate prep team ahead of the Sept. 29 debate between Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden. Christie later said that when people gathered the night before in the White House’s map room to help Trump prepare for the debate, no-one was wearing a face mask.
"We were – the group was – about five or six people in total," Christie told ABC's "Good Morning America.

Good, of all the people who got caught up in the terrorist attack, besides Trump, Christie was the only one who’s health was a concern to me.
If anybody should have succumbed to this virus it should have been Christie with his existing health issues.
Just goes to show that if caught early, it’s generally exceedingly manageable.

Not only is Chris Christie out of the hospital, but his doctors discovered that a regiment of a dozen bacon glazed doughnuts and a bucket of KFC per day cures Covid.
I am not a Christie fan, but I’m glad he’s doing well & out of the hospital.
Because he’s good at debates ? Clearly, his “advice” didn’t work at the debate.
I’m glad he’s doing better. Someone dying from this terrorist attack, right now, would have been a disaster (as it was intended to be).

Trump obviously followed neither Christie’s nor Pence’s advice. On the other hand what is the best tactic when Biden lies and Wallace covers and argues it’s all ok except disruption. I am not saying Trump was wrong here, but can’t blame others for how he handled it.
It wasn't a debate it was a planned political ambush and President Trump did fine. Clearly, you buy into whatever nonsense your favorite MSM pundit spouts out. Did you even watch the debate or are you realying on cleverly edited clips to form your opinion.
Unfortnunately most are not treated as early/interventionally as Trump and Christie. Hopefully it becomes protocol for at risk individuals as it seems much more effective, especially if someone with Christie’s comorbisities got by on only Remdesivir.
