Yesterday, Candace Owens shared a crazy story about her inability to get medical treatment for her asthma attack. Why? Well, because of Covid. Thats why. Isnt that the reason for everything insane in 2020?
Owens explained in her video post that she is a severe asthmatic. When she was eight years old, she had a severe asthma attack and a collapsed lung. Owens, who is seven months pregnant, shared that her asthma and allergies have worsened during pregnancy.
She was having trouble breathing and her inhaler was not helping her so she decided to in and see a doctor at an asthma and allergies clinic. The doctor determined she was in the midst of a severe asthma attack. Thankfully, he had a nebulizer treatment machine right in the room, you know, since they are an asthma clinic. He told her he would give her a nebulizer treatment.
The doctor left the room, but upon his return, he advised Owens that due to Covid-19 restrictions, he could not administer the treatment! He said she had to go to the hospital and get the treatment in a special, pressurized room. Owens refused and told the doctor to just call her in a prednisone prescription. The doctor left the room and thats when it got really bizarre. Owens next sees four paramedics who have arrived to whisk her away to the hospital!
Is this INSANE or what? The medicine was RIGHT THERE. At some point, doctors are at fault for not standing up against these insane restrictions that are harming patients. This doctor, in particular, was too scared to do the right thing, but worried enough about himself and his liability, to not just let Owens walk out. This doc really needed to man up.
After much arguing, the paramedics agreed to give a nebulizer treatment in the ambulance, only to find out that was also against Covid-19 restrictions. Owens rightly pointed out the irony of the fact that they were trying to send her to a hospital at a time when we are allegedly so worried about hospital capacity.
Owens FINALLY got her treatment from the paramedics in her own vehicle.
It should not be this way, people. We have seriously lost our minds as a country. We have lost ALL perspective.
Candace Owen :: COVID-19 could have killed me today. Doctors are now actively refusing to treat patients due to government mandates.
...and no doubt her death certificate would have listed COVID as the cause of death.
The insanity will continue.
Reasonable people will be punished and fired.
...or die.
Yep.
I hope President Trump hears of this and does an executive order on the Covid restrictions! Enough!
How many dead because of this?
This is the key. The COVID-19 lawsuits have not even started yet. And Pelosi and her trial lawyer friends will never consider allowing any legislation that limits corporate liability in any way.
If the lockdowns aren't enough to destroy the free market, the trial lawyers will be right there to finish the job.
I heard yesterday that she had Covid but it doesnt appear so. The bureaucrats will be our downfall. They even scared Mao.
My wife's older brother died earlier this year. He had an inoperable cancerous brain tumor. At that time the only people able to gt tests for Covid were health care workers, emergency responders, politicians, and celebrities. He was not tested, but was counted as a “presumptive” covid 19 death probably because of financial incentives.
Despite smoking being on the decline it is still directly attributable for approximately 500,000 deaths per year in this country which is over twice as many attributed to covid.
The biggest fraud is the way that they count covid deaths. There is a huge difference between dying with covid and dying from covid. Less than 12,000 people have died from covid, the other 200,000 counted in this country have died with covid... maybe. The virus is pervasive enough that the most popular test can detect traces of its DNA it in almost everyone if the test is “oversampled” enough times. But that does not necessarily mean that they amounts found are actually contagious or even enough to cause symptoms.

It would seem that restrictions put in place to presumably protect lives actually delayed needed treatment and thereby endangered a person’s life.
I’m not so sure all these restrictions recently enacted are really to protect lives. Could be, the majority of the restrictions are to protect money and prevent lawsuits.
But that’s just crazy talk, I know.
Peach
I have a relative who was to have a seed implant for prostate cancer back in March, right when covid blew up and all procedures were put on hold. When he finally was able to see an oncologist and get new scans, his cancer had spread. He treatment now includes chemo and radiation.
It is also scary that it sounds like the ambulance was going to take her to the hospital AGAINST HER WILL! Either go with them or DIE because we refuse to give you the meds you need. She needs to get a nebulizer machine and meds to keep at home.
An asthma attack can kill her a lot faster than COVID.
I also don’t understand WHY THE HELLLL they couldn’t wheel her outside and let her do the treatment outside, 20 feet from anyone!
I suspect that one of the primary reasons my brother-in-law was told that his cancerous brain tumor was inoperable is because they had already shut down “elective” surgeries. Elective surgeries are those which are scheduled, many of them are still life saving, especially in the case of cancer and heart disease. In that sense he was killed by the reaction to covid by are all knowing Democrat governor.
We had a friend living in England. He had a problem with his heart that woud have been fixed here the next day, but he was put on a waiting list. Two years later he died a week before his scheduled surgery. It was ridiculous and I never thought that I woud see that type of thing happen here. But this year we have seen the same type of thing over and over.
“...Owens next sees four paramedics who have arrived to whisk her away to the hospital!”
Four?
More likely they found out how conservative she is and sent a death squad.
Bet it was less about WuFlu and more about liability.
If Congress would get off its collective @$$ and do something to protect doc, but large and small bet most of the restrictions would go away.
Hope Ms. Owens is doing well.
