Chelsea Clinton is in Kyiv with her husband, Marc, at the invitation of oligarch, Viktor Pinchuk. She spoke this afternoon before 300 young university and graduate level students. Mariella and I were there along with a huge media presence. Chelsea was really effective with the students handling questions as varied as: how are you effective working with your Dad on philanthropy, the greatest inspirations in life (after her parents, her recently deceased Grandma, Nelson Mandela and researchers in Silicon Valley), growing up as the daughter of Bill and Hillary, and her favorite rock group. She is going to speak at a Pinchuk seminar at Davos as well this week, perhaps along with Alec Ross.

An aide to national security adviser John Bolton sought to schedule a meeting for him with Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk during Bolton’s official trip to Ukraine last August, according to new disclosure filings reviewed by the Center for Public Integrity.

Schoen has represented Pinchuk since 2011, according to disclosure filings under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, and is paid $40,000 per month for the work. Schoen, a veteran political consultant and former adviser to Bill Clinton, could not immediately be reached for comment.

Meetings included one with Ciaramella and his then-boss Zentos (Zentos is now political and economic chief at the US Embassy in Tblisi). Clintonite Schoen began foreign lobbying work for Pinchuk @ $40,000 per month beginning in 2000; Schoen arranged April 2016 meetings for Bielkova with national security professionals, including Ciaramella, at Pinchuk's behest. NOTE: Schoen’s filing under the Foreign Agents Registration Act stated he didn’t attend meetings personally.....but that the meeting topic was “the Ukrainian progress in energy reform, and steps to be taken to increase energy independence.”
