C-SPAN host Steve Scully's Twitter account appeared to have been deleted Friday as the moderator for next week's scheduled second presidential debate faces intense scrutiny over a viral tweet in which he appeared to reach out to outspoken Trump foe Anthony Scaramucci.

The logs of who logged into his account, when, and from what IP address are not archived on the internet. They’re in a database on a Twitter server.
If Scully’s deleting his account didn’t destroy those log-in records, I’m sure Twitter will cover for him: Ooops! Our database had a glitch; those particular records were unfortunately lost....
So it actually looks like Steve Scully likes to go on Twitter when he’s drunk, say all kinds of weird shit and then claim he’s hacked.
Ok. I believe that. 90% of the Democrat Party does the same thing. Steve must be friends with Tony Weiner.

Now it is either repeat the claim to an agent or say something different.

If he was hacked he should report this to the FBI asap. This could be Russian or Chinese election interference!
If he doesn’t report it to the FBI, presumably he’s more worried about filing a false report... though they wouldn’t prosecute a dem anyway.

Scully should indeed report this to the FBI. This hack is a national security issue! The FBI must track down the perpetrators; our democracy is at risk!

In its own statement, CPD said it “it had reported the apparent hack to the FBI and Twitter” as part of its investigation.

Can he produce an email from Twitter telling him he had been hacked?
Back in January 2017, Twitter sent me an email telling me my account had been locked because it was hacked. They included a link for me to unlock my account. I never went back.
Brian Lamb and C-SPAN have been exposed. Ask your cable provider to pull its funding.
