I wish Maine didn’t have rank voting. I believe the republican Governor won the election until they counted ranked number 2 person and the democrat won. I can easily see that happening again.

But if the entire country had ranked choice voting we would always pick up the entire libertarian vote on the second round. I think for the entire country ranked choice benefits conservatives.
