I’m not sure how they used it, but Pulmacort is a therapy
used to block lung problems. They could have nebulized
Dexamethasone I suppose.

I wonder why they didn’t just use Pulmacort.

Probably dosage and systemic effect.

You get a LOT more steroid in you and all over every organ with IV or oral steroids than some inhaled squirts of Pulmacort.

I have asthma (life-long) and have been on all of it at one time or another.

Oral steroids for me make me feel great, anxious, and hungry all at the same time. In no way do they impair me doing my job.
