Frankly, the dems currently are in decent shape for the election - we face an uphill next three weeks. So, why would the dems go here, unless they felt they had to? At first blush, this is a breathtakingly looser issue for them. Seven million plus Americans have had and recovered from Covid. That makes them incompetent?
Please Nancy...pursue this.
Personally, I think the dems are in terrible shape. I think their fraud machine is in good shape, though.
I remember well the Reagen years. During his reelection, the president came to the city where we lived. I decided it would be a good civics lesson to take my 10-year-old to see him. The stadium at the local college was packed. And there were additional thousands outside. We actually did not get to see the president speak, we just got to hear him.
The next day, Mondale came to town to give a speech. I thought that it would be a good idea to take my child to see and hear him also. We did get to see Mondale. The auditorium was not full, there were about 600 in attendance.
President Reagan won that election in a 49-state blow out. (Mondale won his home state of Minnesota.)
What I draw from that experience is that the size of the crowds and enthusiasm reflect the vote. Mondale lost that election fair and square. The people loved Reagan. Now I see the same phenomenon again, only much more exaggerated. Biden has no support, no one comes to hear his speeches.
The president is in excellent shape. The worry is the cheating. The president MUST figure out a way to deal with this, and time is running out.
