Gov. Gavin Newsom issued a warning to coronavirus-weary Californians on Monday.
“We continue to have a lot to do on COVID-19 transmission,” he said.
“You’re starting to see an increase in COVID cases across the country,” the governor observed. “You’re seeing this not just across the country, you’re seeing this across the world.” Newsom then reported that 21 states across the U.S. are seeing increases.
“This is the second wave,” he said starkly, referring to the feared resurgence of coronavirus, which has been expected to see another spike in cases, hospitalizations and deaths.

Newsom said he would like to see all of California’s counties out of the purple tier. Accordingly, the state is hoping to update its new tiered guidance system “by the end of the year.”
“It’s an iterative process,” he said.
Obviously the more people that get tested the more infected are discovered.
But they were there before they were tested.
The real question is: How many are hospitalized?
NOBODY is dying like the plague. The new crisis is testing positive.
Cases rise because there has been a great increase in testing.
More testing = more “cases”

Actually you have a lot on your opinion’s side. Whitmer, Cuomo, Newsom types can’t loosen their grip on tyrannical power when the precipative crisis is over.
Like Fidel Castro who said he would give up power only after he was sure the threats to the people’s revolution were over. And they weren’t for decades later.
In other words, they're about to move the goal posts again.
Then, there’s gonna be a 3rd wave! Then a 4th! And a 5th!
And it’s all because us dirty, filthy, rotten, deplorable SOB’s that want to live our lives!
They will punish us where they can as long as they can until total control is had. They, being the elected and non-elected leftists.

I’m perfectly fine with CA cratering their economy with more hard lockdowns.
There is no 2nd wave. This is the same “wave”. Because of lock downs we are seeing peaks and valleys. Without lock downs you would see more of a plateau. But overall the number of cases over an extended period are not going to change very much. We are also seeing positive test results from those who had only a mild case but those results are counted the same as severe cases.
I have friends in CA that have their own businesses...and pay no attention to Newsom. Barbers, hairdressers, restaurants, nails, gyms, churches...it’s select republicans who can be trusted. Organize.
Ahold just has to keep moving the goalposts..
And if the Fed bails out the state?
And when those people move to your state?
And I bet some of these are just the regular flu or a cold. I thought I had read somewhere that the tests they use can predict colds as if you had the virus. I don’t know if this is true or not but I thought I read it.
That’s because it has spread thru the state...the lockdown states just put it off til they open up and it starts spreading...like going to college...more cases...but very few deaths or trips to the hospital...but it will never end unless Biden is elected
But they are going by the case number only it seems.
