Most people don’t realize that all these pollsters do their polls differently. Rasmussen uses an automated telephone method. Daily tracking results are collected via telephone surveys of 500 likely voters per night and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. To reach those who have abandoned traditional landline telephones, Rasmussen Reports uses an online survey tool to interview randomly selected participants from a demographically diverse panel. These are self selected individuals who are polled repeatedly from their panel which is why Rasmussen polls are usually relatively stable.
It’s important to understand how hard it is these days to poll Republicans. According to Robert Cahaly (Trafalgar) it is 5 times more difficult than democrats. They are much less likely to answer their phones and they are much more likely to avoid disclosing that they are going to vote for Trump. Even independents and democrats are less likely to admit they plan to vote for Trump. Try not to take these panic polls seriously.
Poll results have dramatically dropped recently because:

The media has been in a complete melt down for over a week. It is affecting most of the polls; but it is temporary.
Most polls are poorly done; many are poorly done on purpose. They are a campaign tool, not a public service. Good pollsters say they never poll right after a crisis because the temporary results mislead. They try to wait for calm to poll if they are actually trying to get valid results.
Here is something I posted a little while ago explaining why the New York Times polls are absolute garbage. And many of the other media polls are garbage too for various deliberate reasons.

I believe that new Blexit and Walkaway voters are being underestimated nationwide. They may not have been “likely voters” last time around, but they will turn out in surprising numbers.

I received a call purporting to be a survey. When I said I was voting for Trump the caller launched into a marketing pitch for Biden. Now when I get a call I just tell them I’m voting Biden all the way thus I avoid the marketing pitch. I’m sure these types of call lead into the poll results some pollsters are reporting. If Biden truly is up by that much then I should know many people who are voting for him....I know one person out of my entire circle of people.

I am not sure if these polls are right or not. But, I worry about it because people are stupid today. People will vote their pocket books. They care more about that than they do about stuff that is RIGHT. If Trump loses one or two of the normally leftist states he carried, he loses. He needs all electorals he can pull because he is going to lose the popular vote. People today look at every little thing Trump says or does negatively. Stupid people do very stupid things. I pray for this man every night. GOD is IN CONTROL!!! It clearly says in the Bible that GOD puts "kings and queens" in positions. That means heads of state today. GOD does, not us. HE chooses them. He gives good or great leaders when nations are good and honor Him. When nations are sinful and unrepentant, He judges and He punishes. Obama was severe punishment for a nation in total rebellion towards Him. We are STILL in total rebellion towards Him. We are in severe decline because of how we are towards GOD. If we would actually get on our knees and repent, GOD would honor that and this nation would rise again. But, sadly, America is in rebellion still and GOD IS going to punish us for it. He gave us four years under Trump. He is why Trump won. I pray each night that GOD would give us another four year reprieve. I pray He does. I hope all Believers are praying to Him to give us another four years reprieve, in hopes that this country might wake up and repent. Either way, in the end, now, four years from now, 10, 20, or 50 years from now, GOD IS going to TOTALLY punish America AND the rest of this unrepentant world. He is a Holly GOD. He is a just GOD. He is a righteous GOD. He is also a forgiving GOD. He wants to forgive. But, we have to ask for it first. Simple as that.
