Nearly half of the states have measures in place for visitors, from mandatory testing to quarantine requirements.

Many states are ruled by the stupidest people on the planet.
What does that say about (a) politicians, (2) voters who vote them in and (3) government “workers” at all levels? Pathetic.
The same if you want to visit Italy right now You have to have a neg test within 72 hours of your plane ARRIVING at FCO Rome or where ever...That doesnt give much of a window in which to get the test and the results back before you actually leave home...
The only city in the US doing testing at the airport is San Francisco for people graveling to Hawaii...The plan is to have testing for all the passengers at other airports throughout the country also....
I got this info from United Airlines a day or so ago...
.
Won’t let me read the article unless I create an account to the NYT and log in (which isn’t going to happen).
That is exactly what I was thinking while we were waiting our turn in line.

> On the 3rd day she received a text on her phone from the state of RI inquiring where she went out of state.
The reply should have been: GFY
Nothing in RI is worth visiting. I lived there for 15 years. Awful
No need for a FISA warrant, or an unmasking request? Sounds familiar....
We drove to Florida form MA., more than 2 weeks ago, making several stops along the way. We stayed at our place in FL. for a week and flew home. We decided to get a quick Covid test the day before flying, just in case. When we arrived in Boston, during rush hour, the airport was completely empty. I mean empty. It looked like a ghost town. We got our bags and left. We filled out nothing.
The next day my husband had a checkup with his doctor and was asked if he’d been out of the state recently. Without thinking, he said yes. I got an urgent phone call to take a picture of his Covid results and send it to the Dr. So, it was a good thing we got one.
That was probably done via Timeline.
Somehow they got on my wife’s android smartphone.
This morning she got the first unrequested report.
52 miles and pics of where we stopped (not ours).
We removed this unrequested app shortly after she got her first monthly summary.
I traveled (drove) from New York State to Indiana in August to visit my youngest son. I stayed overnight in Ohio. No restrictions other than masks upon entering, both the hotel and restaurants I went to. I have no reason to go to any other states at this point in my life.
For the states that indicate you must “self-quarantine” for x number of days (usually 14), what exactly does that mean, and how is it enforced? What happens if you don’t?
