Officials in New Jersey are investigating whether President Trump’s Thursday night campaign event at his Bedminster golf course violated state rules, the state’s governor announced.
In a series of tweets posted Monday, Gov. Phil Murphy first excoriated the commander-in-chief and the Trump campaign for hosting the event after senior adviser Hope Hicks tested positive before revealing the probe.
“The President & his staff acted recklessly in coming to New Jersey knowing that they had been exposed to someone with a confirmed positive test. We hope that no confirmed cases come out of the event in Bedminster,” Murphy’s first tweet began.

Fuhrer Murphy still has his boot on the necks of people here in NJ even though we have been at low single digit deaths for months now. There is no china-virus problem in NJ, period. And yet lockdowns and closed schools endure seemingly forever because this dictator won’t give up the power. And someone rampant violations of the constitution don’t raise the eyebrows of a single federal judge or congressman.
These stupid governors pretend to have zero understanding that their EO do not over-rule federal campaign laws or the 1st amendment.
All while they do nothing about marxist riots in their cities.

I have to agree with you. They knew she was sick on same plane, put her in corner. He should have probably canceled going to the fund raiser out of caution. Doesnt look good. It just gives the enemy ammunition. Then there is all backtracking this timeline of when he was tested and when he got results.
He is either getting bad advice or he is not following advice. I loved the speeches at the ACB ceremony. But the other stuff? who planned it. All those people sitting shoulder to shoulder and hugs and handshaking. Really dumb. Look what happened. I’m grateful Trump is ok.
I have a feeling not listening to advice. It was not wise to have an inside gathering afterwards on Saturday. I do think people were targeted. He had a rally in Rose Garden many weeks ago and it was fine. This time around, not so.
I’m happy he had made it through COVID but I wish his message post COVID had been more sympathetic to people who have had COVID survived and to the families of people who lost folks to COVID. I know few people who had COVID and are still struggling from side effects. Not everyone bounces back and feels 20 years younger. He had 14 drs, best treatment in the world, drugs and treatment not yet available to other people yet.
His message makes it hard now for Pence at his debate when COVID is going to be brought up, other REPUBS who are fighting for re-election.
Now they have to defend his statements, his viewpoints, etc.
People are thinking: don’t be afraid, don’t let it control you comments he made but yet, post COVID they are dealing with side affects. He had an opportunity to change this around and didn’t handle it well via message after hospital release.
I agree with all that you said. He is a maverick. It was his idea to stop flights. Thank God. But this did not look good. Glad he is feeling 20 yrs younger. Others not so fortunate. Cant undo but please appear more sympathetic.
