The question is, if she’s so worried about the truth coming out, then why has she not stepped down?
Why does she need the job? It’s a political appointment, isn’t it? Does she need the salary? The retirement?
She could waltz into Booz-Allen or any number of spook encrusted swamp consulting groups and gigs and pull down more salary than a government job.
So why has she not said bon voyage?
The answer can only be that this is a hit piece on her or there is dirt or coercion on her.
If I remember correctly, at the time Haspel was chosen, information about Brennan was either sketchy or not at all.
I mean info about his skullduggery. He was just the previous Director.
