Thank you! I tried them at the top of the hour and they had the news on but maybe they won't at the bottom. The station I usually listen to him on (via TuneIn) had their news on at the bottom and top of the hours.

I bet they break at the top and bottom of the hours. Aren’t there some required hard breaks?
