Problem is...of those church-going Catholic voters, 33% didn’t vote in 2016.

That isn't a bad thing, trust me. Too many of my fellow Catholics are delusional straight-party Dem voters. Because Grandpa said they're FO DA WORKIN' MAN! And Uncle Stan marched with Father Coughlin. Or something. Better they stay home.

Not according to the stats of the Pennsylvania Catholics who attend church (at least in 2016, a large majority voted for Trump). I heard the info in my prior post in a podcast today. If I find a confirming article, I will ping.

Though I am Christian but not a Catholic, I have been following the behavior of Pope Francis and the illuminating missives of Archbishop Vigano.

Your description of the bifurcated political leanings of today’s Catholics reminds me of comparison to today’s Jews.
