I am certain that there are many county DA’s who will refuse to prosecute local health department violations.
Same thing has happened in Pennsylvania. The main reason the Carlisle car shows and Williams Grove Speedway operate as normal—real normal, mask only if it makes you “feel safe”—is that the Cumberland County DA has repeatedly state that he will NOT prosecute any charges brought for violating the Governor’s “orders”.
A friend of mine is Mayor of a small city in northern PA. His police do not enforce any of Wolf’s illegal edicts.
They had a car show a while back. They got almost twice the exhibitor cars than they normally have.
