Biden gave no answers. Said he wouldn’t say if he’d pack the court or not.

Biden will get less votes than Hillary. Hillary has the leftist feminists voting for her and she could get a small crowd. Biden can’t draw flies.

Trump’s winning strategy was clear. He forced Biden to either embrace Democrat's radical left wing or disavow it.
Whichever answer Biden gave would be a losing proposition........Biden placed between a rock and a hard place.

<><> Biden's embracing the far left would give Trump ammunition to target Biden as a socialist in league w/ the Bernie/AOC radical agenda.
<><> Biden's disavowing the radical left would cause Biden to lose support from the extreme wing of his party.

Biden chose the latter....playing right into Trump’s hands. “You agreed with Bernie’s manifesto,” Trump said.
“There is no manifesto,” Biden stupidly responded.

“You just lost the left,” an elated Trump said.

“Not a single person who watched the debate in its entirety can say with any degree of intellectual integrity that Biden looked like someone ready to become the next commander in chief.”

Nonsense!! There are many pearl clutchers right here on FR who threw in the towel and not only declared Trump the loser of the debate but claimed his performance would surely cost him the election.

This whole show is a major farce and proves/shows nothing new. That Trump is an aggressive, effective executive we already knew by virtue of his success in the business world and the last three plus years of his presidency where the economy and jobs market has risen steadily. That Biden is a slobbering, geriatric fool we also knew even before the curtain went up on this rediculous sham.

Disavowing the radical left would cause Biden to lose support from the extreme wing of his party.

Not true.

The radical left will vote for Biden et al regardless of what he says in debates or campaign speeches.

Other than getting votes from Liberal elites and mainstream media talking heads, I don't see a path for a Biden Victory.

Biden is a proven failed candidate.

From the article

When Trump accused Biden of destroying the economy with his climate plan Biden said, “The Green New Deal is not my plan,” apparently forgetting that on his website it says, “Biden believes the Green New Deal is a crucial framework.” Later in the debate, Biden said “The Green New Deal will pay for itself as we move forward.” When he was asked again by Wallace if he supported it he said, “No, I don’t support the Green New Deal.”

I remember him saying the Green New Deal will pay for itself, before saying he's giving us the Biden Deal, not the Green New Deal. But all the goals he listed were GND goals. And rejoining Paris which will gut the US economy.

I keep asking: what does Jill Biden have on the DNC that she’s able to have a stranglehold on the nomination?

Or is Joe the sap they put up because they knew he wouldn’t win— and they’d have plausible deniability in him getting elected (and immediately replaced)?

Conspiracy theory: did Trump claim CoVid to pre-empt Joe claiming it?

The most probing, trenchant questions of the night to Biden came not from the “moderator,” but from DJT.

I think Trump’s strategy in part was to make Biden look unpresidential. Watching that debate in away you’d come away thinking Biden is no different. He shares he does name calling ,he interrupts just like Trump. Might as well just keep Trump. Time will tell. God willing Trump can win again

The suburban women including my wife hate Trump. They don’t care about his policies. He’s not JFK. He’s a rude New Yorker who is abrasive.

2016: Hillary Clinton, unable to go out in public unattended
by at least one physician

2020: Joe Biden, unable to form a coherent sentence

I don’t know who will be the next candidate put forth by
the Democrats, but their qualifications are crystal clear

2024: Comatose, breathing with help from a respirator, in
an area subject to power brown-outs

From Biden’s perspective none of this matters. He’s way ahead in the polls. All he has to do is hunker down in his basement and coast to victory.
