Sure it is. I wear one. But Americans have the RIGHT to be “stupid” as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else.
Because where does that stop?
“Your debit card has been declined. You’ve already had a Big Mac this week! Based on your body weight you’re not allowed another, sorry!” or “Our monitoring device shows you’re listening to music too loud. This is bad for your hearing. We have therefore automatically reduced the volume of your listening device. Have a nice day!” or “You’re going 29 miles in a 25 mile an hour zone! Your car is automatically reducing your speed to 25 to conform to applicable laws. Have a nice day!”
They’ve already tried to silence people who SAY anything they consider “stupid” (like “global worming is nonsense”).
I don’t know if I’m going to get the vaccine or not, but I do know I’m completely against forcing people to get it.
