In 1999 in October we at work we’re offered ‘free’ flu shots. Buy December I became hyper allergic to many things. I had CIPD an autoimmune disease which is the chronic form of Guillain Barre’. It’s not fun.
I don’t know what type of flu shot it was.

That said, I repeat - I’m in favor of seat belts and wear one. I’m not stupid.

That one thing is deceptively simple. Wear a seat belt. Wearing a seat belt especially if you are driving or sitting in the front passenger seat in a vehicle equipped with air bags will keep your body from thrown from your seat and crashing through the windshield.
A traumatic brain injury can have lasting negative consequences in your life.
I take the quad valent high dose live virus flu vaccine every year and have for ten years since my spouse went to work on a childcare facility and twice brought home influenza to me. The second time it put me in the hospital with a collapsed lung and pneumonia after nearly dying and 3 weeks in the hospital I eventually recovered months later with a 20% permanent loss of lung capacity. Since I have been taking the high dose quad valent I never once have been sick with influenza she refuses to take any vaccines she is a rabid antivaxer and get influenza every year twice she has been bed ridden in the last ten years. The only side effects I have ever experienced from the live virus version is a low grade fever for 24_48 hours afterwards and some fatigue also ending at most 48 hours later. I now am a firm believer in live virus vaccines. I’ll be taking the covid vaccine without hesitation even if it is a live androvirus version. The military has given me literally hundreds of shots over 12+ years and deployments to the tropics, deserts and various third world sh1tholes I fear no.vaccine.
