Fox News ^ | October 03 2020 | Ben Shapiro

Posted on 10/03/2020 5:14:50 AM PDT by knighthawk

My family and my company are leaving California.

It's heartbreaking.

My parents moved to California four decades ago. I grew up here. For 33 of the 36 years I've spent on this planet, I've lived here.

I was born at St. Joseph's in Burbank; I attended elementary school at Edison Elementary; I went to college at UCLA.

I know why. No reason to read it.

This was the elite’s plan all along. They hate the working and middle class. They would love to have CA all to themselves with a huge underclass that will adore them.

The worst part of the outbound migration is that these ex-Californians will bring all their ideology with them.

Leftists believe as gospel that NEXT time, they get a do-over to maybe, this time, make failed policies work.

Weep for my beautiful Virginia.

Ben, the only thing you need to explain is why it took you so long to figure it out.

It is conservatives, like myself, who have left (2015) and are leaving and going to red places. We are going to places and bringing conservative values with us.

“Weep for my beautiful Virginia“

Ditto that. Middle Peninsula here. Virginia was a moderately conservative, reliably red state when I came here in 1995.. it’s deep blue now.

He’s following Art Lafler, author of the Lafler Curve. Art moved from I believe LA to Nashville several years ago.

That is exactly my fear. That escaping Californian fools will bring their idiocy to the rest of the Country. Their ideas and ideals have utterly failed, destroying a State with literally everything going for it. You would hope maybe they learned their lesson and if they move here they will think and vote differently. But consider this: they didn’t learn in CA. They kept voting for more and more of the same. So no, CA refugees are not welcome here, period. Stay where you are and fix the mess you made - without our help. You have everything you need with the possible exception of an ounce of common sense. Find that, start using that, and you’ll be fine.

There are (plenty) of ex-Californians, who left the state, who are Republicans.

This poster included.

That underclass will tear them to pieces when they can’t deliver and there is nobody else to deflect the blame onto.

Nashville has been booming, but I heard it’s turning into another Austin.
Still, seems like TN is pretty good on taxes.

Good. I hope he hammers the idiot Democratic politicians of California. Hard.

Their policies have ruined this state over the past 50 years.

Glad my dad isn’t alive to see how much they’ve destroyed his state...

Well it is more that the locals dont give a crap about their own local government enough to be hard-core participants in it as a bulwark against these people.

These people move in and they gladly do what the local conservatives are too lazy to do.

Then the local conservatives carp and moan, then move, and act like they are victims as they move to a more conservative area and proceed to sit on their butts again.
