During his daily news conference, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO) said Mexico was “not sucking their thumb” as they prepared for the new migrant caravan that he claimed appears to be more politically motivated rather than a humanitarian cry for help.
“We find it very weird, very awkward, that this caravan begins on the eve of the U.S. presidential election,” Lopez Obrador said. “This is too much of a coincidence–how is it that in Honduras, where they have a lockdown, they are allowing this group to form?”
Despite the Coronavirus crisis in Central America, an estimated 6,000 migrants crossed into Guatemala on their way to Mexico. The caravan was organized via social media with specific plans to trek from Central America, through Mexico, and eventually reach the U.S. border to request asylum.

In January, when this National Guard Force deployed along Mexico's Southern Border, they had effectively full Martial Law powers to direct local Governments. They swiftly put an end to caravans passing into Mexico.
Those guys will be suited up and warmed up, just waiting to get in some stick time, the moment these Central American invaders step foot over the line.
Well. don’t let them across your southern border, Mexico. Problem solved. Let Soros feed them. No doubt he’s financing the caravan.

And haul out that photo of the cute little girl sobbing her eyes out - which saturated our media 2 years ago - due to Trump's evil policies separating her from her mother .... except that 95% of the entire MSM ignored the debunking that came 2 days later when it turned out she had never once been separated from Mama.

This is purely political, intended to influence the election, and of course in Biden’s favor.
If they do make it to the US border, the idea is to scream

Bottom Line: With billions at stake, Mexico will turn that caravan around, before it gets within a thousand miles of our border.
They have to be responsible neighbors in controlling crime/immigration, to get a huge slice of the supply chain we are ripping out of China, under the new USMCA trade deal.
It is the development opportunity of a generation for Mexico, and AMLO’s (the Mexican President’s) best bet for a successful economy during his term. In fact, if AMLO doesn’t perform in good faith, President Trump has made clear that he will drive Mexico into an economic slump, with 5% tariff increases per month.
These are not Mexicans we are talking about in the caravan - they are Hondurans. Mexico will not appreciate them screwing up their deal of the century, and best hope for prosperity.
