If they don’t restrict oxygen, you are not wearing it properly. The whole point of a mask is to restrict intake and outtake of air.

I've been wearing N-95 valve masks for a dozen years as part of my job.

This trained me to breathe through my nose.

When I put the face diaper on, I can only go for a short time before I need to expose my nose for more oxygen.

I can wear the valve N-95s all day long while doing moderately heavy work...

Maybe so, but I have to pull mine out every couple minutes to take some deep breaths else I get sleepy and even start to lose balance- I am a night security guard at a shipyard and am required to wear it in the early morning when the workers are coming in.
