Meanwhile, Rudy Giuliani is in the process of getting tested, and we’re still waiting on Biden’s test results.
Pelosi doesn’t wear a mask. Why hasn’t she had covid. Fauci I wears no mask at baseball game. He hasn’t had covid. Neither have the Clintons or Obama’s. What Democrat politicians have had it? Maybe one in Michigan? There does seem to be a lot more republicans getting it.
Trump was in incubation period at the debate so Biden should get it too. The incubation period is several days to two weeks. The debate was Tuesday so Trump had been in incubation period then. Biden was therefore exposed.
If Biden doesn’t test positive in the next day or two-it would seem very strange.

Since the senate did not adopt “vote from home” or “vote by proxy” rules, it is simply important that, when votes are cast, the members have the ability to come on the floor to do so.
As the hearing isn’t until October 12, Lee should be fine for a floor vote much later; the key is to not get a bunch of republicans so sick they can’t make the vote, or if you do, to also make sure enough democrats are sick to even it out.
The way the senate USED to work, if an “important” vote was happening, and a senator was too sick to vote, a member of the other party would offer to abstain from the vote. But the democrats have destroyed the comity of the senate, so I would never expect that to happen now.

All it would take would be four or five senators, Republican or Democrat to claim they have Covid, and the hearings are postponed until after Trump is re-elected.
No surrogate could have gone in his place?
