That female cop was stupid - no other way to say it. She let herself get inside the perp’s danger zone, didn’t draw her own weapon, etc.
On the other hand, her male partner had great control of his service pistol, especially given the close proximity to her.
The female cop made two big mistakes. After she tased him and he stood up, she didn’t appear to draw her firearm, then allowed him to walk right up to her with a large butcher knife. She completely froze as he was attacking her. The other cop was also negligent in waiting so long to shoot. His partner was fortunate to be stabbed in the vest, but the perp could have easily hit her neck and killed her.
The good thing the partner finally did (and I believe there was another cop too) was to unload his weapon into the crazed man. It took 15 bullets at least to get him down.
The female cop all but asked to be stabbed.
Dirty ba$tards. All thugs. There is a reason why LE is always on edge around the tires.

Every time a cop gets wrung up by the media for shooting someone, they are more likely to hesitate. Every time a cop hesitates and gets killed, they are all less likely to patrol and even respond to high crime areas. The end game clearly seems to be no-go zones.
Well where were the social workers?
the male cop had opportunity to shoot the guy as he began advancing toward the cop with the tazer. He waited to long...both cops seemed soft in their approach.
This is what the left wanted. It’s the goal of their sliming of the police for the past 6 months.
I think the stabbing was into her vest. Not the least bit graphic. There is a fountain of blood from the perp’s neck, though. I think the main objection the networks have is that it’s mostly lead-up to the shooting, showing the cops to be more than tolerant of non-compliance, and leaving no question that the shooting was justified.

I saw him advancing toward the cop with the large knife, not the taser. He should have been dropped right then and there. She froze and starting screaming. The whole thing was bad police work until they finally unloaded on the maniac. It could have been much worse.
