The U.S. House of Representatives passed a revised coronavirus relief bill in a largely symbolic vote on Thursday, as discussions between House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin continue.
The bill has little chance of becoming law since Republicans are unlikely to bite on the $2.2 trillion price tag even though it is nearly $1 trillion less than what Democrats originally proposed in May.
Pelosi acknowledged on Thursday night that she had reached no agreement in her discussions with Mnuchin, but indicated that negotiations would continue.

Well, not much can be done now since the President is apparently on his death bed.../s
The Democrats are offering the choice of stalling it until after the election or shoveling outrageous amounts in funds to their commie campaign constituents. They’re still trying to overthrow the government.
Nancy learned everything from Bernie Madoff.
Pelosi lost 17 of her Dems. (Peter King - R voted for Pelosi bill)
The vote was 214 to 207.
There are 232 Dems in the House.
Only need 3 more Dems and Pelosi can be bypassed. King will vote for any stimulus bill that helps his constituents.
So King will vote and just need 3 Dems.
Problem Solvers Caucus is a bipartisan group that wants to get it done and get rid of the nonsense.
If Problem Solvers Caucus gets King (R) and 3 Dems, they can pass a discharge petition and vote on the floor without Pelosi’s permission.
Bottom line is Pelosi narrowly passed her bill. She’s vulnerable. But she’s unfortunately a nut job. She thinks by screwing the People she will hurt Republicans and Trump; delusional.
Betting lotsa Dems are going home to tell their constituents...no $1200 for you....no unemployment for you.
