I don’t agree with this at all, HCQ was, at the time he originally touted it (months ago now), one of the few if only ways known to treat it. We are much further along now in our understanding of the virus, and as such there may now be much more established and proven treatments available.
If he gets HCQ as his treatment and recovers, thereby vindicating his recommendation from months ago, then great. But I want him to get the best treatment possible, today, and serve as an example that the infection can be easily defeated, whatever that treatment may be. Prayers up.

Yup. I expect he does too and will go with what the best treatment available now is, as opposed to trying to score points on any medicine. His goal is to get well/be well.
