I don't know; he might do well to get some rest and his campaign will be fine. The 10 days will go by fast. (Isn't it 10 days now, and not 14, that is needed to quarantine?) I think he could put up a few more commercials. All I see is Biden commercials and I barely watch TV. If Biden can campaign from his basement, then so can Trump for a few days. Trump runs around so much that I worry about him. We all need rest.

If you’re a golf fan you may know that the PGA tour has been routinely testing all its players and their caddies and the tour officials, there have been a few positive tests that became negative later, and also a few cases where a player who tested positive had no symptoms and was able to play in a tournament soon afterwards. So if you can do that on a positive test, I think it shows that it is quite possible to test positive but not be significantly incapacitated.
Hopefully this will be how it goes for the President.
Jack Nicklaus had a bout with the virus, he could be described as a fit octogenarian, and all he said he suffered from it was a sore throat and feeling a bit down for a few days. It’s not necessarily that serious a problem for fit older people, the higher mortality rates are mainly due to the declining fitness levels of older people in general. Trump seems fairly robust and will probably not get all that ill at worst, maybe not even at all.

I don’t agree with this at all, HCQ was, at the time he originally touted it (months ago now), one of the few if only ways known to treat it. We are much further along now in our understanding of the virus, and as such there may now be much more established and proven treatments available.
If he gets HCQ as his treatment and recovers, thereby vindicating his recommendation from months ago, then great. But I want him to get the best treatment possible, today, and serve as an example that the infection can be easily defeated, whatever that treatment may be. Prayers up.
