California's larger counties will not be permitted to reopen their economies further unless they reduce coronavirus infections in the hardest hit places where the poor, Black people, Latinos and Pacific Islanders live.
Under a new state requirement for reopening during the pandemic, counties with more than 106,000 residents must bring infections down in these places and invest heavily there in testing, contact tracing, outreach and providing means for infected people to isolate. Los Angeles is one county sure to be affected, along with others in Southern California.
The measure is designed to ensure that test positivity rates in the most disadvantaged neighborhoods do not significantly exceed a county's overall rate, a disparity that has been widespread during the pandemic.
The new requirements, which take effect Oct. 6, may make it difficult for some counties to reopen as quickly and broadly as local leaders would like.

Thank God my county moved to “red” this past Tuesday which I THINK means schools can still reopen in 2 weeks. Private schools only will opt to though, of course. Public schools in my district are now saying “maybe Jan.”
Newsom is such a tyrant. Unbelievable. Those counties that haven’t reached “red” by now apparently never will? Really? Never reopen schools or businesses unless the poorer areas of counties are “paid off?”
What a great way to encourage white flight to white only counties in CA.

I think it’s more than obvious that the plan is to eliminate the middle class in Kalifornia and that success will be used as the blue print for the democrats and the anti American establishment pukes (Soros) to enact the same across the rest of the country. Not to preach but countries under Socialist, Communist, Marxist governments do not have a middle class. You are either rich or poor and the masses of poor are much easier to control and the rich get richer by exploiting the poor.

Months ago it was questioned if people with darker complected skin have a vitamin D3 deficiency which would help explain their higher rates of COVID-19.

Without mentioning vitamin D3, patriots in crowded California counties might ask their darker complected friends if health officials have mentioned taking pills of any kind to help guard against COVID-19 and see what they say.
And if our darker complected friends don’t mention vitamin D3 then I smell Democrats.
Please consider asking your friends to consider regularly taking vitamin D3 and C supplements in my non-medical opinion.
I’m going to continue taking D3 to help fight both COVID-19 and flu.

I don’t see any problem with voting Republican ticket for 2020 elections.
