MINNEAPOLIS (AP) An attorney for one of four former Minneapolis police officers charged in the death of George Floyd on Thursday reiterated his request for the trial to be moved, saying the defendants and lawyers were harassed and threatened by protesters after a September hearing in the case.
Tom Plunkett, the lawyer for J. Kueng, said in a court filing that defense attorneys and their clients were harassed on their way to and from the courthouse on Sept. 11, and that at least one attorney was physically assaulted.

George Floyd killed himself by swallowing his own dope. These cops should be saved from this railroading. The hell with all the skin color involved, an innocent man’s life is at stake. If they want civil war over this then so be it.
I don’t think I am too far out on that limb by thinking liberal judges in liberal towns do not care if police get a ‘fair’ trial.
Think judge ‘Sullivan’...
Where could they move it to that the protesters won’t be bused in?
Try the case in Portland or Honolulu.
There are two kinds of judges now; Normal and Corrupt/Democrat.
I consider myself a news junkie, I live in Henepin County and I did not hear about the lawyer being ruffed up.
Odd. sarc/
I can see Minneapolistan from my porch. I never heard that, either. If I didn’t know better I would think the media is dishonest.
These trials will hopefully be moved to the American part of the state where all four cops will walk free after they see all the proof that Saint Floyd died of a drug overdose.
There is no voter fraud in MN.
I’ve applied to process absentee ballots for Hennepin County. The job is at 701 4th Ave S. Downtown
They said no justice, no peace. What they meant was no justice for the defendants and no peace for the legal system. Minnesota is becoming a banana republic
How about Zumbrota?
International Falls in January would be a great spot to move the trial.
Not a riot, just Unruly
