White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany defended President Trump on Thursday over the fallout from comments he made during this week's debate about the "Proud Boys" and said he has “denounced white supremacy” repeatedly, calling his record on the issue “unmistakable.”
McEnany, during a heated White House press briefing on Thursday, called the news coverage of the president's comments “shameful” and claimed the media “refuses” to cover his response.
“The president has denounced white supremacy, the KKK, hate groups of all forms, he signed a resolution—just last week, he expressed his desire to see the KKK prosecuted as domestic terrorists,” McEnany said.

We’ve tolerated at least decade of virulent black supremacy in many insidious forms and it is getting far worse in 2020. When does that get condemned?
The most pressing question in this election is how do you deal with one side that shamelessly and constantly lies whether by commission or omission, and a media that won’t call them on it?
White supremacy, as a practical matter, really does not exist in this country any longer.
Does anyone REALLY believe that the melanin content of one’s skin has anything to do with making one human being any better than another? It’s an irrational, illogical thought.
The concept only exists now with small groups of organized kooks.
They insist he denounce the Proud Boys as white supremacists.
So they know the top Proud Boys are Black/Hispanic.
The media doesn’t seem to know that.

Yeah, as Glenn Reynolds over at Instapundit is known to say: "Trump is the worst racist ever."
The Proud Boys are not great people, but they are not a white supremacist group, even the Southern Poverty Law Center won’t call them that.
Trump twice answered “SURE” in the debate when asked to condemn White Supremacists and Militia.
That he later said the Proud Boys should stand back is fine, because the Proud Boys are not WS, and they don’t deserve to be cancelled just because they are prone to drinking and bar brawls.
