A Republican super PAC, aligned with the partys Senate leadership, will infuse $9 million into the Senate race in Michigan where incumbent Democrat Gary Peters faces GOP challenger John James.
The Senate Leadership Fund is placing the buy Thursday, and the spots will air statewide beginning Saturday on TV and radio.
SLF President Steven Law called James an incredibly impressive advocate for Michigan families and jobs who is taking the fight to Peters for leaving Michiganders hanging in a pandemic.

Actually it didn't. If you compare the numbers of voters who voted for Hillary in 2016 to those who voted for Stabenow in 2018, the numbers are almost identical.
Had the same numbers of voters who voted for Trump in 2016 showed up to vote for James in 2018, he would have won. James lost simply because Republicans stayed home and didn't vote.......
