People worry Biden is a Trojan Horse; not a single person could name a Biden signature policy initiative. They worry Democrats who don’t understand them will really be in charge. To some it seems men, old people, straight people, entire regions of the country, are being excluded. It isn’t status anxiety but a sense that what used to be a difference of political opinion now makes someone illegitimate as a person
They hear those who may soon be running the government call them haters just because they are poor and white. While Trump is a known element, Biden could mean Obama without the gravitas, or he could mean a Pelosi regency, or a progressive charge of night riders led by Harris. Like Biden, Trump is old and sick, but if not Trump you get Pence, not the deluge.
Who wins Pennsylvania seems a battle of enthusiasm. Little-understood by the coastal MSM is the important role of conservative talk radio in these areas. People spend a fair amount of time in their vehicles, and they listen to regional and local talk radio sometimes for hours.
Nobody in New York pays much attention to these very conservative hosts, many mixing religious and political themes. They are skillful in using listener call-ins to make it seem an agenda is organic when it is driven. The idiots who draw conclusions from Twitter have no idea how powerful a force this may be in driving a turnout which will favor Trump.
It looks like just an affinity for the Yankees or the Nittany Lions, but there is deeper water underneath. Trump’s role in getting the Big Ten teams back on the field was not overlooked. Meanwhile, with a Democratic Governor, there’s no homecoming, no trick-or-treat, not much to do but hang at Walmart.

This assessment is spot on. Biden is just a figurehead. If elected, he will either be out after 18 months or totally sidelined by Harris.

Where does he get that Trump is sick? Biden looked and sounded like a frail old man who hadn’t seen the sun in months.
Pennsylvania will go Trump by a large margin. Look at all of rural Pennsylvania and all through the Philadelphia suburbs and the the entirety of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the people of Pennsylvania passionately promote and vote President Trump!

I have driven through some Pa suburbs.
Quite a few Biden signs. Way more than Hillary in 2016.
Good news is that rural PA is even more solid Trump and the are islands of support in Philly and Pitts you didnt see in 2016.
I live in Bucks County (PA/Philly collar suburb) and work in Montgomery County often. Bucks seems to be about 50/50 with yard signs, but lots & lots of American flags are up, which I think may be a quiet way to show Trump/conservative support.
Montgomery County, on the other hand, looks like a lost cause. It was the birth-place of the “hate has no home here” signs and the Biden/Harris signs are currently about 20 to 1 over Trump/Pence. A lot of “Karens” and “Chads” there, for sure.

Probably the most vocal folks I know making arguments for Biden aren’t the life long committed active democrats... but NeverTrumpers. That’s how non existence Biden’s enthusiasm is.

IfTrump carries Bucks and Chester, he wins by a decent amount.
In Trump country, there is a local VETs that was open all through this "pandemic", and the only rule they had was you couldn't park in the VET's parking lot, you needed to walk a block or two to get in the back door.
The local cops knew/know it, and some might even tip a cold one when not on duty.
Many of these old VETs, like me, are late 70s and early 80s and the VETs is their only source of social life and reason to keep on living.
If I am ever questioned about this post, I am so old, that like jim comey, I might not recall that I wrote it.
