Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and CNN's Chris Cuomo faced off in a fiery clash on Wednesday night that further escalated when the Republican took a swipe at the anchor's Democratic brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
The conversation began with Cuomo pressing Cruz on whether President Trump went "soft" on the far-right group the Proud Boys during Tuesday night's debate. The senator responded by saying he wished Trump was "much clearer" with his denunciation and appreciated the president's sharper condemnation the next day. Cruz quickly called out the press for being "hypocritical" for not condemning Joe Biden's 2010 eulogy for former senator and klansman Robert Byrd.
"You're really gonna go with that?" Cuomo reacted. "I know you're a master debater... you're gonna go with that weak-ass argument here? Byrd, who had a complete enlightenment about how hate was wrong, who changed his life, who spoke about it, who changed his ways?"

You smile and plod along until they lose it and then press further because they will shut down or start yelling and the advantage then becomes yours soblong as you continue to present your idea while frustrating their expectation that you will become inferior to the discussion by giving them room to speak while you politely wait or bide your time to make your point or counter theirs.

And since we are suppose to be on board with removing any object, edifice, naming of streets and buildings of past racists I would have pressed that point as Byrd was in fact a racist asshole and anything eulogizing him ought to, under their new rules, be erased from American Society.
In fact, the most racist organization ever, the Democrat Party, ought also to be denounced and erased.
It was Republicans who crushed the Democrats in a civil war and invited them to continue working toward a more perfect union.
It was the Republicans who overwhelmingly “Forced” the 13th, 14th and 15th amendments while the Democrats in large numbers voted against them and then by subterfuge of Jim Criw laws found ways to undermine the equality of Americans to vote, drink from water fountains and ride buses as free people in America.
Further, it was Republicans who for 20 years fought to give women the right to vote, which is amazing in my minds as I consider them citizens of equal value in America and the Democrats fought in their majority to continue their subservience to a man and men.
Further, the Democrats were in the minority on The Equal Rights Acts of 1958 and 1964!
There were no Republicans standing in the doorway of schools denying children equal access to education

I knew Cuomo was a jerk there.
I was going to watch the video, but as soon as I heard Cruz claim The Proud Boys were white supremacists, I closed the page. How can you call a group that has blacks, hispanics, and I believe asians in it, a white supremacy group? I didn't follow Cruz in 2016 during his campaign, and I certainly wouldn't lean toward him any time in the future.
Anyone white fighting back is now a white supremacist and all the media cretans including Wallace want denunciations for white supremacist militias that haven’t even arrived on the scene yet. Right now they are blamed for the reactions in the street, rioting looting and burning, next they will be physically blamed for it.
They are rewriting history right out in the open. Of course now they have to explain why soros and heels up and the rest of the lefties are posting bail for these "Proud Boys" and why the leftie soros DAs aren't pressing charges. Well, they should be forced to explain how that happens, but none of the mockingbird mediots will ever ask the question.
McEneny needs to open with a slide or two explaining who the Proud Boys are.
Cuomo is a self-absorbed ahole. After throwing aa hissy fit when Maine threatened to stop cars with NY plates at the border, now he has his imbecilic (and illegal) quarantine edicts for people landing at NY airports. Two months ago I returned from the LI/NYC area to my rural western NY home, coming from an area with 100-times the infection rates, I wasn’t ‘required’ to quarantine. But last month I retuned from an area (rural NC) with 1/10 the infection rates of my area, and I’m expected to quarantine. And I’m not quarantining.
This puke just wants to look like he’s doing something useful after his brilliant nursing home move.
