I think Bemidji Woolen Mills (Minnesota) is probably the source of the red/black plaid. When Rick Santorum was running for President BWM made lots of red/black vests that were prominent in the campaign. When President Donald J Trump was in Bemidji 2 weeks ago the red/black was making a comeback. The owner is 3rd or 4th generation, has been a republican backer for quite some time.

Ari Fleischer corrects himself from last night. He said that Trump needed to take it down two notches, that he appeared to be the aggressor.

But after watching the debate again, it was actually Biden that started the interrupting. All Trump did was defend himself.

(Then "the moderator" felt the need to defend Biden.)
