For those that don’t know: The SU-25 is a ground-attack jet, sort of the Soviet/Russian counterpart to the A-10. Much like the A-10, it’s not that good at air-to-air missile combat in its normal loadout.

Frogfoot worse than any jet.
With A/A missiles and a gun that can reach over 9,000 feet- the A-10 is a formatable A/A platform, Very respected by other fighters—they stay away and don’t want a fight with the Hog. A-10 is able to maintain/regain energy a lot better than the Frogfoot.
