Yes, I saw a brief report on the cable disaster.
Is it likely to be fixed soon ?

Serves NY right. Especially NYC. During winters they pay homeless, usually drug-addicted people one way airline tickets to the island, dumping them here and expecting us to take care of them. With no notice, warning or funding.

After the election, when Democrats take the Senate, hold the House and take the Oval office, Puerto Rico will become a state. Then all those nice tax bennies will come to a screeching halt.

BTW, same thing is true for the State of the District of Columbia.

So, your overall burden is the lowest in the USA.

That's unacceptable. You need to be properly enslaved by your government so that you can enjoy the benefits of enslavement.

I wish the WSJ would stop using the word “homes” when they “vacation properties” or “investment properties,” but they won’t.

My late father learned to say, “Please give me two beers,” in several languages. That way, he had to ask only half as often.

If you go, don’t miss the big radio dish at Arecibo.

Isn't the Arecibo dish in shambles, after the natural disasters of recent times?

New York attracted a lot of Puerto Ricans in the 50s-70s.
