this is true. I shoot between 5000 and 8000 rounds a year between pistol, rifle and shotgun. Thats why its so funny when you see reports of people getting arrested with a 200 round ammo stash, like thats evil.

Reloading drills (under stress) are equally important. Please don't neglect this. Particularly shotguns and revolvers.
I remember when I bought my first gun. It was a .22 I got from Wal-Mart in 1978 for $30. It even had a scope. When I carried it, it felt like I was holding pure evil. It was weird. I had been brought up in liberal Seattle, and there were still trace elements of my public school indoctrination.
Now I understand that a gun is nothing more than just another tool. And like most tools, if mishandled it can hurt, maim, or kill.
