I expect Trump to win, too. But it matters little without the support of his own party because the past four years have shown he has little control of the parts of the executive branch that really matter. Incredibly, Democrats including Hillary and Obama lawyers fully controlled the “Trump” DOJ for YEARS while Sleepy was recused.
Trump needs substantive support and friendly Congressional oversight on his flanks to drain the swamp. A few SCOTUS judges are not going to turn this ship around. Our institutions are far too corrupt for that to make a difference.
In hindsight it was probably foolish of me to expect the GOP to support him. The swamp is never going to drain itself.
