If these lakes were not buried by some natural disaster who would go to the trouble of burying entire lakes?

The bad PR seems to have peaked in 2017-2018. I believe I've read that "green boots" was moved out of sight by the sherpas, who had taken to referring to that little cave where the climber had died as "green boots". Looks like Elon Musk will use SpaceX to haul The Boring Company tunneling equipment to Mars. Build his Mars city, and bore a tunnel to the South Pole lakes. I think his plans were to build an underground city by 2050 on Mars. He previously mentioned that he would like to rename the planet as Planet Musk.
