Mark Meadows Drops Major Hint — Chris Wray could be fired…

Meadows says Wray could be replaced

“Certainly, he’s still there. The minute that the president loses confidence in any of his Cabinet members — they serve at his pleasure — he will certainly look at replacing them.”

“To suggest that there is a process that is full of integrity is trying to make a verdict before you’ve actually heard the case. That’s my problem with Director Wray, they need to investigate it and make sure that the voting populace, make sure their vote counts and no one else’s does.”

“As we look at this, we want to make sure he’s doing his job. There’s different degrees of confidence in different Cabinet members,” he added.

It goes something like this, Trump to Mitch; “here’s my choice for FBI director”. Mitch; “well we’ll see Don but I doubt we’ll get a confirmation, how about Chris Wray I can make that happen”. We have already seen the senate not confirm Trump’s picks.

perhaps... but i tire of this... if biden is installed as president and we lose the opportunity to dismantle the decades of debauchery that is the democratic party and debutantes, i will be discernably disappointed.

Yes I heard that at the time. Trump also had trouble getting people confirmed around the time Wray was put forth. I think he went with the “path of least resistance”.

And yes totally coincidental (eye roll).

If true, only a couple years too late. Think of the damage he’s responsible for during his time leading FBI.

YES! The FBI needs to create systems to make sure the vote is protected... Wray making pronouncements on high echoing white liberal 'elites' is nuts.

Put security systems in place - seed the rolls with fake names to see if someone 'votes' those people. Make sure ONLY legal citizens are voting... put penalities IN PLACE NOW...

I assume Wray and Esper will be immediately fired along with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs when Trump is re-elected. They damn well should be.

I only saw a few minutes of the press conference where he mentioned that Rudy was there to take any questions.

So I don't know if the president gave any additional reasons why Rudy was there.

It would be great if it was because Rudy would replace Wray.

Imagine what Trump could have accomplished if he was not so incompetent at personnel management. Not cleaning out all the Obama holdovers and other Deep Staters that he could fire at will has cursed his Administration since Day 1.

I see. And what happened when POTUS broached the idea of firing Sessions and Mueller? His own party publicly said they would not confirm Sessions replacement and the GOP chairman of the Judiciary committee (who defacto supported Hillary in 2016) directly offered to introduce a Mueller Coup Protection Act in the Senate. Firing Sessions would have made Rotten Rod AG. In hindsight it became clear he was. Or more accurate Weissman and Mueller’s Democrat thugs were in control of the “Trump” DOJ.

But please do go on telling us how POTUS could “fire everybody” without the support of his own party.

The FBI thinks it is something other than a minor bureau in an executive branch agency.
They literally believe they have a legal right to independence and to stand in judgement of the President, including sending spies into the White House to target him.

Lots of people have to be confirmed. It doesn’t make them a cabinet member. The FBI falls under the DOJ. The DOJ is headed up by the AG, who is a cabinet member. The FBI is not independent. It is a mere bureau inside the DOJ, and executive branch agency.

There are huge numbers of people who have to be confirmed that do not rise to cabinet level. I think he could indeed bypass the FBI in many ways that he thought were effective.

Banana Republic is where there is an attempted overthrow of the elected leaders and the only thing that happens to participants is that they become rich and famous from books and tv appearances. Sad!!!

Joe has helped keep it going by propping up and cheerleading for Barr since Poppy’s funeral.
