President Donald Trump called for the U.S. attorney in Minnesota to investigate a report claiming Rep. Ilhan Omar supporters were illegally ballot harvesting.
The president called for the probe on (twitter) (Twitter) after (Project Veritas) released a report Sunday alleging Omar’s supporters in Minneapolis were illegally obtaining ballots.
"This is totally illegal. Hope that the U.S. Attorney in Minnesota has this, and other of her many misdeeds, under serious review??? If not, why not??? We will win Minnesota because of her, and law enforcement. Saved Minneapolis & Iron O Range!" Trump wrote.
Project Veritas, which uses undercover journalists, highlighted a video of an operative bragging about collecting ballots on social media.
