This is an extraordinary circumstance. She has gone through this already, she has had at least week already probably longer. We need the 5-4 now to smack down the post election vote counting the rats in the swing states have shoved through.

The GOP is counting on riding this issue to Election Day to bolster their turnout.

If I was a DEMOCRAT I'd want this vote held for her confirmation next week. I know I can't stop this nomination, so I want it out of the way quickly so I can campaign against my opponent's vote.

OK -- but it's not up to you and me to determine how much -- or how little -- time she needs to prepare for this.

As I've said before in the last couple of days ... the GOP will make this a rapid confirmation process, but they won't cut any corners.
