I get and agree with your arguments about the COVID stats. There are definitely a lot of factors to consider. I don’t buy the numbers.

However, let’s say, purely for the sake of argument, that 200K Americans would not be dead but for COVID.

How is Trump responsible for this when there are about ten countries that have fewer raw numbers of dead people from COVID only because their populations are lower, but, and this a big but, they have higher death rates?

If the U.S. had a death rate that was about 20% higher than the next highest country, then perhaps we could start talking about Trump somehow being responsible.

Even if you accept the fake 200,000 number (and I don't), US deaths per million is still better than a lot of countries in Europe.
But then the US death figures have been proven to be fake over and over again. There are hundreds of posts here in FR about that.

I like and agree with your points. I don’t dispute the 200,000 number, but definitely disagree with applying culpability as liberals do.
