"...We dont need a wall, said Mercurio Martinez III. We are not completely against walls, walls have their functions, walls have their purpose. We dont particular feel we need a wall for this area in south Texas..." I heard Laredo had the 2nd highest per capita violent border crime just a few years back...sure sounds like they need it.

Laredo is the biggest city on the border, without any significant barrier.
Huge amounts of existing illegal traffic will naturally divert through there, as the neighboring Rio Grande Valley Sector is already getting walled off. Despite what some non-authoritative local might opine for a reporter, Laredo already has a high flow of illegal traffic across its unsecured border.

Downtown Laredo, where the Border Wall Program will build an innovative "bulkhead" raised promenade between the bridges, as an Urban Development sweetener for the City.
Other places in the Rio Grande Valley are getting great upgrades to their flood control levees out of the Program. Just the security improvement will lead to higher real estate values, improved tax base, and economic development, as it has elsewhere.

Well, just tonight on CBS "60 Minutes" (the epitome of FAKE NEWS) A whole bunch of really upset GovernMental Swamp Creatures were interviewed and claiming that POTUS Donald J. Trump was breaking all the rules and creating corruption in our precious swamp ridden GovernMental MESS!!!
Of course they didn't follow-up with something about Diane Feindstien and her crooked spouse with their unrighteous deals with CHINA, sorta like the BIDENS ya know, for a little balanced reporting... It's enough to gag a maggot!!!

As areas are walled off, the cartels move to other crossing areas. But there are less areas left, concentrating more activity into less space. With the Wall helping, the Border Patrol can cover and control more area. Every mile makes it better, keep it going.

We dont particular feel we need a wall for this area in south Texas. - Council Member for District 3 Mercurio Martinez III Wow, a council member, no less. He must be a third generation wetback. He needs to be reminded not to come back as his a$$ is kicked all the way back across the border and then some.
The nerve to tell us Laredo doesn't need a wall when it is perfectly clear to anyone with a brain that the wall is going up to protect ALL of America, not just their own little wetback enclaves.
