Well, there we have it folks. Let's parse this one sentence. "Belittles, demeans and ridicules." Exactly what is Mr. Ridge saying about President Trump? Sounds like Mr. Ridge is ridiculing and demeaning President Trump, especially when you get to the "loud, obnoxious and simpleminded" part. Pot meet kettle. Hypocrisy at it's best.
Now let's examine the next few words, "people who disagree with him". This phrase is typical of leftists. It falls into the category of partisanship and collegiality. To sum it up in just a few words, "if you don't agree with us, you are nonpartisan." Except people vote for a President to not agree with the other side. They expect disagreement and the expect the promises that President makes to be kept. They do not want the other side's solutions. It should be noted that Mr. Ridge was a very nonpartisan politician. He was in the mushy middle where he would bend to one side or the other, never standing on principle. And since he had no principles he never fought anything. And since he never fought for anything (other than saying he did, while conceding to the left) he never won. To be absolutely blunt, Mr. Ridge was a loser, because he never won.
Now let's get to something more substantive, "simpleminded solutions to complex problems". Without ridicule on my part, I may get to that later, let's take simpleminded. First, Mr. Ridge is ridiculing President Trump's intelligence. Second, it implies simple, as in a solution that is simple because the person does not have the ability to create a complex solution.
The problem in with Mr. Ridge's perspective is that is based in on a lie. The lie being complex solutions are required for complex problems. In fact, the reality is quite the opposite. First, complex solutions to complex problems rarely work. Second, President Trump offers and delivers simple solutions that work. In other words, we do not need complex solutions to solve complex problems.
I'll give you an example of a simple solution, as President Trump likes to say, "The Wall and the Wheel, these are two things that will never go away." That's a businessman's perspective. His business had complex problems: large, multi-million dollar projects that needed to be delivered on-time, on-budget, and meet some fundamental business goals and objectives. These would be cash-flow and profit.
I can tell you from a lifetime of business experience that simple solutions solve complex problems. Complex solutions have a number of disadvantages. First, they are expensive. Second, they are difficult to manage. Third, they introduce their own problems, making the solution more complex and even more expensive and difficult to manage. Fourth, goals and objectives are lost to complexity. People think more about how to implement the complex solution than meeting the true underlying goals and objectives for success. Complex solutions lead to projects that are late, over-budget, cancelled, or never fully meet their intended goals. In short, they are failures.
Now back to the wall. The wall works. Walls are proven to work throughout human history. It is a simple solution to a simple problem. And this is where we see the big difference between a successful businessman and career politicians. Politicians see every problem as being complex. They lack vision. Vision can be viewed as a product of intelligence. It is the ability to see through a large number of variables and trade offs while distilling the problem to something understandable and solvable. Vision gets the essence of a problem so that you and define concrete goals and objectives. Vision allows for architecturally simple and effective solutions. Vision is an admirable personality trait, and is related to focus and persistence. The focus is seeing the end result and persistence is required in meeting a vision, especially when you have so many saying your solution is wrong, ineffective, and other demeaning things that are abject lies.
Mr. Ridge lacks business experience. He has a history of creating complex solutions to problems, whether the problem was simple or complex. He solutions are abject failures. He lacks vision. He does not possess the ability to see the end result of a solution and to assess if the solution will be a success.
Mr. Ridge spent a lifetime in politics and never built a damn thing that worked. He is a taker, not a maker. He is a mealy mouth pussy that never attempted to make a stake in the American Dream because he rather live off the largess of others than take risks with his own capital. He is a coward and a useful idiot of the left. He lacks conservative principles and loyalty. Lastly, he is a traitor to our Republic. He is aiding a providing comfort to a Marxist enemy. In short, he is the poster child of the deep state.
I think it is important to give an example to back up my rhetoric. Mr. Ridge was the first Secretary of DHS. As such, he was responsible for shaping and forming DHS. You would think that DHS goals were to provide security while maintaining Americans' freedoms and liberty. He did neither. The complex problem of terrorism was never complex. It is a simple problem with a simple solution that did not require endless wars, the death and maiming of tens of thousand of our soldiers, nation building, or diminishing Americans' freedoms and liberties. Mr. Ridge had no vision. He never understood the problem of terrorism, and never had the ability to create a solution to terrorism.
Mr. Ridge aimlessly wandered and squandered, spending hundreds of billions of dollars on projects than did not make American safer or to insure their freedoms and liberties. In fact, he diminished our freedoms and liberties so he could have yet a few more years as a overly paid government employee. He prayed off of Americans fears to line his pocket book while expanding his kingdom of power. Mr. Ridge is the post child of the deep state. He is a vile human being and hopefully he will burn in hell for eternity.

As Cromwell said to the Long Parliament and was later repeated to Neville Chamberlain by Leo Amery in 1940: "You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go"
Just "go" Mr. Ridge and take your Rino friends with you...The Rats are waiting with open arms...
Ive never thought that loud, obnoxious, and simpleminded solutions to complex problems are the kind of qualities we want in a president.
No surprises here. Big Tommy and little Tommy the commie seem to agree in a remarkable and unusually large number of policy areas.
Tom Ridge was never a real Tepublican. He always leaned the other way, wishy-washy!
More to the point, Big Tommy and Little Tommy share a deep seated fear that the life giving waters of taxpayer dollars will no longer flow into the preferred watering troughs of the K Street cattle barons.
The Gov. of PA when Dr. Gosnell was Gosnelling.
And reporters come a running...
McCain made a career out of knifing Republicans for press boys... The Washington Post and New York Times have shrines build to McCain and John Kasich.
Ever notice how there are ZERO democrat 'mavericks'? A democrat who trashes a democrat gets the cold shoulder from the corrupt press.
Rino ass hole!!!!
A pro-infanticide Catholic. Tells you all you need to know about his priorities.
Ridge, you have NO clue what got the man Trump elected ... you twits, that never stood for anything, but, your own personal gain... ‘We the people’ are NOT you’re hookers... to pimp off to the globalist comrades ...
Tom Ridge was a big disappointment, but we knew that long ago.

I was my Republican party chair at that time. I can now safely and proudly say I never voted for him, left a door hangar or in any way promote him. He was hand picked as a congressman in Erie by the billionaire republican benefactor, Elsie Hillman, for the sole reason he was pro-abortion. W almost picked him for VP but the abortion issue killed it. (they say he was too much taller than W and would be bad optics). Elsie supported many Republicans for decades, but she was first and foremost pro-choice. NEVER, EVER trust someone he is pro-gay or pro-choice. Both positions are a mental defect that cannot be trusted with any authority or leadership. Sooner or later EVERY pro-choice or pro-gay person will stab you in the back. Don’t think the person you are thinking of is an exception.
The real Ridge reason:
“It was MY turn, dammit, but they didn’t even rate me in the primaries! And Trump did not pay his party dues, get in line and wait his turn!”
