Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Saturday said the Senate should not act on Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the Supreme Court until after “the American people select their next president and the next Congress.”

“Supreme Court decisions affect our everyday lives, and the Constitution was designed to give voters a voice on who makes those decisions,” Biden tweeted Saturday, just after President Trump nominated Barrett to fill the vacancy left by late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

“The Senate shouldn’t act until after the American people select their next president and the next Congress,” Biden continued. “Americans deserve to be heard.”

It is President Trump’s Constitutional right to nominate. It is as much a right as the 2nd Amendment which guarantees the right to bear arms. It is typical of Dems to take away Constitutional rights. That’s why our vote is necessary to get as many of them out of office.

None of us got to pick the time RBG crooked. We did, however , have a chance to vote for our Senators. We voted for Republicans to keep lawless Rat judges from obtaining power and Republicans are doing what we already voted for them to do.

It is not his right. It is his responsibility. Just as it was obama’s responsibility to nominate Garland...unfortunate for him and the thugs, they did not control the Senate so he could not be confirmed.

Does anyone actually believe Merreck Garland would not have been pushed through the approval process had Democrats controlled the Senate? Give Democrats the majority and they never hesitate to use the power it creates. Meanwhile the Republicans are feckless as they try to appear polite and accommodating to all. It’s like watching a professional wrestling match with Democrats being the bad guys and Republicans being the good guys. You know the bad guys will cheat and win and the losers will cry foul and demand a rematch to encourage future ticket sales (sales being donations in political terms). The main difference here is that politicians are playing with our lives and freedom. I see Trump as an honest referee and now both sides are upset that the game has changed for them. The good news is that the public has benefited.
