It's a close call - but Senator Hirono is chief moron.
In addition to completing ACB’s confirmation hearing in a timely manner, Graham needs to prevent the Dems from making this a circus. Grassley, hamstrung by Flake, failed miserably. But much has changed in two years. Flake is gone, so we are already better off than with Kavanaugh. Since the Kavanaugh circus, we also increased our advantage in the committee from one seat to two, replacing Jeff Flake and Orrin Hatch with Josh Hawley, Marsha Blackburn and Joni Ernst. I also think Lindsey is tougher than Grassley, so all in all, we are much better off. These clowns Hirono and Blumenthal skipping the interview likely indicates they know that without Coons’ little buddy Jeff Flake on their side, they are screwed.
