I DO get great care at my local VA in Madison, WI. We have an awesome Women’s Clinic that meets my every medical need. (Scary how many women are now being treated for PTSD. Really sad for their kids and families.)
However, I’m due for my annual exam and a few other minor things and I called and told them I was NOT coming into Madison until we get the All-Clear on the Covid, the mandatory mask stupidity, the rioting and looting and burning stops, the shootings stop and I don’t have to worry about running over the random ‘protestor’ playing in the road.
The nurse said, ‘We’re getting a LOT of that these days.’
There’s a REASON I moved OUT of Dane County. Madison is the BIGGEST of them, among many.
I’m ONE County over. 140 cases of Covid. NO hospitalizations. NO deaths. NO problems at our nursing homes.

This wasn’t a VA facility—I think you knew that. But just so everyone else understood this was a State facility.
