Bad move, caving to the rioters and Marxists. Their demands will never stop so long as they keep winning.

Juneteenth is specifically a Texas holiday. Isn’t there a more generic one?

Are we required to eat fried chicken and watermelon?
Not a racial thing, those are just great summer foods and June IS in Summer.

Bad move. If done, take away Martin Luther King holiday and give us back Washington’s Birthday holiday. Why should blacks get two holidays when we have none for Asians or whites?

I’m not with him on this. Before this year, most blacks didn’t even know what Juneteenth was.

If blacks want to celebrate a holiday, it’s ok with me. If they want to put up a statue next to one that already exists, it’s ok with me. Just understand that the other side of history exists and we will be in a better place.

He needs to win in 2020. Whatever it takes I am fine with it.

I’m guessing that the only place watermelon would be in season in June is Florida?
To: roadcat
We could make the date of Lee’’s surrender a holiday instead.
