These measures will help prevent "surges that inevitably will occur if you're not doing the kinds of public health measures that we're talking about," Fauci advised.
The CDC also recently issued guidelines for festivities and gatherings for the upcoming holidays that can help mitigate the virus spread.
Fauci also said getting a flu vaccine will help boost public immunity and reduce the risk of a severe influenza infection. To ensure the U.S. has ample influenza vaccine doses, the government has ordered a whopping 200 million doses — the highest amount ever purchased.
"If we listen to the public health measures, not only would we diminish the effect of COVID-19, we might get away with a very, very light flu season if we combine that with getting the flu vaccine," Fauci stated.

Then all of a sudden, it was all about masks. The criteria was...if you can't be 6 ft from someone elses's face, you should wear a mask.....wash your hands, sanitize your house and hunker down because you have no job and your kids are running around.
Things have since changed...Fauci now says: open the windows, get outside, take Vit D, wash your hands and social distance with or without a mask.
Now CDC comes out with a little quip....It would take 15 minutes of face to face talk for someone to catch the virus...and that's without a mask.

Hospitals had limited protective gear when this started. All kinds of improper procedures were going on. Hardly any otherwise healthy hospital workers caught the Chicom flu. I talked to one who told stories about “bear hugging” a 300 pound Chicom flu patent to move them. Yep. No transmission there. That should tell you right there we are getting scammed.
I was talking to my neighbor yesterday. She was complaining about the odor of spray paint fumes coming from one of the other neighbor’s house. She said that the recent forest fire smoke caused her asthma to flare up even before it was visible. I should mention that she smokes 2 or 3 pack a day in adition to the smell of marijuana that always is lingering in the air around her house.
She said that the worst group of Covid “super spreaders” were college kids who felt that they were invinincible. I pointed out the recent study that showed that college kids were twice as likely to be killed by lightning than coronavirus. She said that there were 750 people dying of coronavirus per day in our state. I replied that last week we had 3 days in a row with no coronavirus deaths in this state. This did not make her happy. She said that by the end of the year we would have 400,000 more coronavirus deaths and that the second wave was just getting started and that it was all President Trump’s fault. At that point I had to disengage because I realized that she was way too far gone to help.
