Ever seen the movie, “Halloween 3 Season of the Witch?”

Not me - I despise 99.9 % of sequels. The original 1978 Halloween outing is a classic, tho. Nice camera work and great location use in South Pasadena.

Oh, Halloween 3 isn’t a sequel. It’s a completely new story. No Michael Myers.
It wasn’t all that popular when it came out in 1982, but gained a cult following.

Halloween 3 is hardly a sequel. It oddly has nothing to do with any of the other other Halloween movies. If I remember correctly, there is one scene where there is a television in the background and the original Halloween movie is playing on the TV. That is the only reference to any of the events or characters in the other movies.

I believe the idea was to turn the franchise into an anthology of of horror stories that were unrelated to each other. Then that was obviously abandoned.

With all of that said, it was a terrible movie and I wouldn’t recommend it at all. But it is a curious thing.

H3 is stand-alone.

It's completely different from H1 and 2. It has nothing to do with Michael Myers.

They tried to capitalize on the Halloween franchise but failed. It shouldn't have been included in the series.
